Our band has had the honor of being the only European ensemble to represent our country at the world’s largest Silk Road Festival in China. The Silk Road International Cultural Expo, held in Dunhuang, will bring together the most renowned researchers, experts, and musicians specializing in the theme from all over the world. Prior to the Expo, we will hold a concert in Beijing on September 19th.

The audience can experience an ancient musical journey at the Várkert Bazár, where Bálint Bársony will perform with the Hungarian Rhapsody Project and musician János Csík on February 13. The Hungarian Rhapsody Project combines ancient instruments from the Carpathian Basin with modern ones, creating a blend of past and present musical atmospheres. We spoke with Bálint Bársony, an Erkel Ferenc, Artisjus, and Fonogram award-winning saxophonist, composer, and sound therapist, about the concert’s structure and their future plans.
